Chinese Lunar New Year gala

The Confucius Institute of University of Debrecen will hold its Lunar New Year gala evening 8th February 2020.  The event will establish a tradition to look forward to in the future as well.
According to the Chinese calendar 2020 is the year of the rat which stands for a new beginning and rebirth. Therefore, we would like to give a taste of the traditions of the Chinese people living in our region with the help of the different performances among them traditional Chinese music, dance, and martial art. Furthermore, we intend to enrich the evening with giving you an insight of the lively everyday life of Debrecen hand in hand with that of our university.

The Confucius Institute at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Debrecen postpones the Chinese New Year Lunar Gala（It was originally scheduled for February 8th in order to reduce the hazard of infections. The new date will be announced in due time.
