The CARPE Network, a European consortium for applied research and professional education, is a strategic alliance of several European universities of applied sciences. The partners aim to promote cooperation in European research programs, develop and strengthen ties with industry at the European level, and jointly develop training programs. This network is made up of the following institutional partners:

The SIG Forum in Debrecen was dedicated to discussing the future of Special Interest Groups in the areas of:

- Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
- Doctoral Education

- Entrepreneurship and Business

- Health
- Pedagogy, Learning and Innovation
- Smart Sustainable Cities
- Societal Challenges
- Sport and Exercise
The main objective of this forum was to understand the key challenges faced by Special Interest Groups and to prepare for the next CARPE Network Conference, which will take place in Utrecht in 2027.
